Rocken and Rollen!!!!!

In some homes you will find violins, flutes, pianos in the living room. You envision lovely music being played in the evenings. Mother with her knitting and father with his paper.

I'm not going to say the music coming from our living room is not pleasant to listen too because I like it but you will not find me sitting on the couch reading a book.

We will soon have a full rock band in our living room. This was the scene last night after dinner and I have to admit it sounded pretty darn good.

School is in full Swing

School started for Erin last week. She has had one full week of classes and is loving it. She is in the 2nd Grade and her teachers name is Mrs. Bartley. Her 2 favorite times of the day are still Recess and Gym but she is also liking math. This year she is also going to be busy learning how to play the drums and karate.

Rock on Baby!!!!

Look at my baby girls. Rocken like the....Like the....Big dogs I guess. Well, here you have it folks. Today a friend from church lent us his drum set so Erin can really practice now. She has been taking lessons this summer and has been doing pretty well. I think she is really going to enjoy practicing a lot more now but my ears may need some ear plugs. Katie is not allowed to touch Erin's drums but as you can tell she is going to make the best of it and play along with Erin with her tambourine and egg shaker. Rock on Girls!!

What has Katie been up to?

That is a wonderful question. She is just been sweet. She has been playing with her animals and has her very own journal that I am sure she would love to show you. It is a Dora Map that folds up nicely that she carries around "writing songs", "writing stories", and "playing games" on. It is "so amazing". She also helped me set up my studio lights the other day before baby Jaxon came over for his photo shoot. I have posted it because I think she looks so lovely.

Slumber Party Fun

As you have read in a previous blog Erin read 300 hundred plus books since the start of 1st Grade. As her reward she was allowed to have a slumber party with more than one friend. She chose Lissie and Hannah. They had a wonderful time.

They played games including Uno and Truth or Dare Janga

They each got there favorite Pizza topping for Dinner

They swam after dinner till it got dark

And played dress-up in the morning.
